You inhale and exhale knowledge.
The river is green and deep.
The longer you walk,
The more relaxed you feel.
You listen to Mayan
Songs and legends,
Looking at colourful butterflies
And poisonous spiders.
The Amazon jungle is enormous and alluring,
You take one step after another
And drown in this emerald wave.
It shines with tucan's feathers,
It sings like tropical frogs,
Hisses like serpents.
Under a veil of sundown
You fall asleep
And rise up early
To go deeper
Into the forest.
