All that's left is broken heart

All that’s left is a broken heart

Your withdrawal: a piercing dart

Sleepless nights on that damp pillow

Doesn’t my inner self have a similitude with

The dangling straggly branches of that old willow?

Underneath which;

Hand in hand, we used to talk

Along side that tranquil lake we used to walk

Wind gusted, thrumming of daffodils’ clap

I would lay my head in your laps

And you made me a cafuné

Your presence embellished my everyday

I remember our sipping of same cup of scalding tea

My heart always wanted you with unrivalled glee

That lingering kiss; poignant reminder of happy days

To lighten your mood I know thousand of ways

Who knew that this seemingly imperishable love wouldn’t make it through

Alas! Parting our ways seemed you a clue

My heart knew it

It’s the last time we are gonna meet

A sudden chaos stuck it

Unfathomable depths would have heard its beat

In this perpetual darkness, I wonder struck by dismay, I ponder:

Weather I made love or was it a crime perpetrated!

You deemed that this love can’t be perpetrated

Tears kept trickling down my cheeks for weeks

Eyes immensely dried

With no tears left to cry

So now they cry blood

How couldn’t I feel you were smothered by my presence

Our love meets it’s ultimate fate of evnescence

Obsession with the past memories has becomes my life’s bane

Enervates me from inside: this inexplicable pain

I fancied you would return the way you said

I better had love moon instead,

Every single day it returned

Listen ever single word I said

Longing in my eyes is for you

Please! Come back, my arms are still awaiting you
