Isilda Nunes is a portuguese artist, writer and poet, Doctor Honoris Causa in Philosophy, Letters, Arts and Humanities in Barcelona, Spain. She won numerous awards and recognitions and she is the co-author of numerous anthologies and the author of books of poetry and prose. Her poems have been translated into around fifty different languages and published in many countries. She has participated and organised literary, cultural and solidarity events at national and international level.
