Isilda Nunes
Isilda Nunes is a portuguese artist, writer and poet, Doctor Honoris Causa in Philosophy, Letters, Arts and Humanities in Barcelona, Spain. She won numerous awards and recognitions and she is the co-author of numerous anthologies and the author of books of poetry and prose. Her poems have been translated into around fifty different languages and published in many countries. She has participated and organised literary, cultural and solidarity events at national and international level. Among other positions she is Founder of UMEA (União Mundial de Escritores e Artistas); Chairperson of the Language, Literature and Oratory Arts Committee of Modern Pythian Games and President Pythian Games-Portugal; Advisor to the Presidency of CIESART (Cámara International de Escritores y Artistas) and President CIESART -Portugal; Vice-President MEL (Mulheres Empreendedoras da Lusofonia) Supervisory Board; Member of the Board of Directors of Editorial Atunis; Full Member of the LIK Academy - Literature, Arts, Communications; Ambassador and Portuguese Language Editor at "The Archer", Multilingual Literary and Artistic MagazineMore
