I wear a mask but it’s not fake,
And it will not be a mistake
If you call me an idiot.
It seems my life was just a lie.

I’ve never been to land where roses bloom
As white as mountain snow in Yorkshire Dales.
I’ve never seen the home of singers, whom
I praise as minstrels of forgotten tales.

The rules of life are obvious and easy:
Return the borrowed money if they tell you.
Wear warmer clothes, my friend, when it is freezing.
And grab some food before the other fellows.
