I used to be like you when I was your age.
It was more than desperation to get out of the cage.
I wanted to grow up; I wanted to rush.
But I have never ever learned the cons of giving trust.
I used to be like you when I was your age.
It was more than a dream to receive the first wage.
I wanted to get a life; an adult life.
But I have never ever learned how to be a lovely wedded wife.
So take a single step and learn while you can.
Because life has too many lessons;
All you need is to stand.
It takes a lot of learning and it takes a lot of time.
Enjoy the moment of teenage life; you’ll find the lime.
The life of a grown-up man is as complex as the world.
You must get ready to battle; perhaps have yourself whirled.
You have only seen the superficial of adulthood.
In time you will understand the virtues of my manhood.
Your views towards life will soon to be changed
So take time to learn things at this stage.
I used to be like you when I was your age
It was more frantic to be silent even your heart is at the rage.
I wanted to say something but sure I was shushed
But I have never ever learned how to listen to my gush.
I used to be like you when I was your age.
It was more than my desire to quick-shift the next page
I wanted to hurry my goal; to get the adult life.
But I have never ever learned to solve my own strife.
So take a single step and learn while you can.
Because life has too many lessons;
All you need is to stand.
