THE HURTING

Can you hear my voice echoing?

Apart of me has always been silent.

No one has ever seen me cry in the night,

They all think I am happy as I look.

You will never understand,

how much I have tried.

Tried to be silent,

when everything was falling apart.

It is the most painful moment in my life.

I do not even know what I am going to do anymore,

Everything is feeling so unreal.

Am I having a mental breakdown again?

I have always built my stamina,

By keeping everything that hurts inside of me.

But It also pushes me to the ground.

I learned everything in the hard way.

My voice is breaking,

I am not able to be me anymore.

And I wish the truth was so much simpler than that.
